Banjarbaru (17/08/2016) - Commemoration of the 71st Indonesian Independence is not only conducted with a flag ceremony on 17 August 2016, but is also used by management Syamsudin Noor Airport to share with patriots that is representatives of veterans from Banjarbaru.
“It is our commitment to appreciate the merits of heroes. Their struggle is enormous. This is just a simple way that we can give to them. We hope it may bring benefits and add the spirit. Thanks to the representatives of veteran from Banjarbaru Mr. Khamim, Mr. Beni, and Mr. Soeparto already to present this morning.” said General Manager, Handy Heryudhitiawan.
The aid given is package of basic commodities for daily needs. Initiated by the Corporate Social Responsibility Section, which is one of the units in charge of implementing corporate social responsibility, this aid was greeted positively by the veterans. One of them is Mr. Khamim which revealed his impression when talking after the flag ceremony.
“We are very grateful for the invitation to participate in flag ceremony and of course of this aid. When we saw the young people who have a passion like this we felt touched,” he said
Implementation of flag ceremony itself went solemn and smoothly. It started at 07.00 Central Indonesian Time and attended by all employees of Syamsudin Noor Airport, subsidiaries of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) and held on outdoor of administrative office of Syamsudin Noor Airport.
“Seventy-one years of Indonesian independence is the grace of God the Almighty. We believe that the Indonesian independence is a golden bridge to realize all the hopes of a nation and state, The hope can only be achieved by working.” said General Manager while reading the speech of the President Director, Sulistyo Wimbo Hardjito.
The Management also asked for all participants of the ceremony to continue providing positive contribution to the advancement of the nation. “Let’s coloring the 71st Independence Day celebrations with a commitment to work harder, smarter, sincere to contribute our best as a nation. Continuously repairs, the spirit of improvement.” Said General Manager, Handy Heryudhitiawan closing speech in ceremony of 71st Indonesian independence.
